A poem about life and the world around us. |
|
Somewhere in this world, a little boy is embarrassed
Because the school bully beat him up again,
And in another place a little girl just lost her
Best friend.
Another day goes by…
Somewhere in this world, a mother is grieving on the
Loss of her son,
He fought like a real soldier, he stood tall, but he
Wasn't a match against the snipers gun.
Another tear to dry…
Somewhere in this world, a little child is lying in
Bed trying to sleep,
Rubbing his tummy will not let his hunger
Go away, it's way too deep.
Another day goes by…
Somewhere in this world, a little girl ashamed
To tell anyone,
What the man did because he lied, it
Was not fun.
Another reason why…
Somewhere in this world, people are being
Over looked just because they're homeless,
And there's a murderer who refuses to
Confess.
Another day goes by…
Somewhere in this world, a sick man works
To feed his family,
A person goes blind and now
She can't see.
Another tear to dry…
Somewhere in this world, a baby is born
Can you hear it's cry?
And another breath will cease, we can't
Deny.
Another reason why…
