Hide behind  the mask

Of insecurites

Feeling as if I can't measure up

Drown my troubles

In a bottle of

Cheap whiskey

How long

Before I learn

That doesn't work

Anyway

I thought this battle had

Ended,

That I beat this

Alcholic

Frenzy

But it has only begun...

This is based on truth a friend who had beat alcholism for a number of years went back to drinking, please keep him in your prayers, I do not give you his name here, but God knows who I am talking about...

An excellent job, Poet. No matter when one puts the bottle down, whenever they pick it up again they are starting right where they left off! Both emotionally and physically too! Itís probably one of the least known FACTS, yet it is the MOST important FACT about alcoholism! Thank you for sharing it. Hopefully, your friend will put that bottle down, and pick up a bottle of water instead! Take care Michelle.
