If I would have known

Then what i know now

I would have let you live

Felt you grow in my belly

I would have held you in my arms

And sung softly to you.

I would have told you I loved you

I really do.

I would have read to you stories

And watched you grow

If I would have known then

What I know now

I would not have let them

Rip you from my belly

I would have not

Murdered you.

It is a tragedy that the vast majority of abortions preformed in this country have nothing to do with the health of the mother, a medical issue with the pregnancy, anything to do with the unborn child or any type of crime… the vast majority of abortions in this country are performed for purposes of birth control and convenience. Great write.

"I wouldn't have let them...."

let them? or had them? this is a sad write indeed and many do not understand but to have had it asked to be done is entirely different than one who lost one through another form

I wish that more people would see it this way. They really do not know what they do.

Very powerful write. You got straight to the point. This stands on it's own and put it right out there. An in your face kind of write.

A sad and sorry situation Michelle, I admire your courage in posting this, it helps to purge it out of your system to share, and know that others empathize and care....
Love to you, God understands and forgives too.
