| I went to NY city this past Monday and Tuesday to hear my sons' band play two shows...I saw for the first time the Statue of Liberty in the distance and then I read this poem and see this child of a gifted artist using her talents and I just sigh...how wonderful...from a distant AXELSON cousin...excellent...HUGS |

You have penned a marvelous poem, and your sketch is wonderful. You definitely have artistic talent, and I'm very glad to see you using it so marvelously. Please continue to write and sketch, and post your work. (Just push Dad out of the way if he's hogging the computer!)

Amanda,
You've put tears in these old eyes and released a sigh of contentment from between the smiling lips of pride. My heart genuinely swelled as I read your young appreciative words.
I offer you my Thank You, for sharing a message that all of us
should embrace.
I know your Dad is whistling with parental glee.
Just simply awesome and delightful work Amanda!
