worn-out mornings leave me left in doubt
what was left in that ole sock?
did ya ever doubt me in my muse?
did I ever let your lil ass fall?
when I stood and yelled, "AMEN!"
didn't ya say, "he loves me?"
I thought I saw that train leave
you were spewin all of your wants
she said, " Michael do ya save yourself?"
Noooo.....I save the children for today
click "n" clack, click"n" clack
baby get yourself right with hardknocks
sometimes, I pull myself up from reason
not all drunks are poets today
"n" not all poets are waiting for death
but. if you leave in a hurry, I'll be here
do your worlds want to tame?
would ya like me to be someones abolish?
nights will always beckon my, mystery me
and the childen will say, "Michael is here"
if ya finish anothers heartfelt words
do ya give life to the refugees in plight?
will you catch the train at its next passing?
do, your childron abandon your wonder?
this poet will serve you and the lil ones
if your mistreated and you feel outlawed
Michael will be in your service forever
don't condemn the poet which held your pen..
