Life's Too Full To Be Sad!

I amble thru the day with glee
'tho do not linger long.
My soul doth hunger to be free,
my will it is not strong.

The day springs cool, the sun is bright
I shall not linger long
I must be off to see each sight;
Shall fleeting thoughts be wrong?

The butterfly doth thrill my soul
and over there I see
A happy, running mare and foal
Their spirits, too, are free.

So if you look at me and sigh
"She must be off her head!"
Come fly with me and see what's nigh...
Life's too full to be sad!
