20 minutes into watching a DVD in my RV in Los Botines, Laredo TX at 10:35 in the p.m. entitled: 'Augustus' at the point where Augustus reaaches Caeser's camp where he's fighting Sextus in Spain, My Muse insisted I grab a pad, pick up a writing implement and start scribing. Well who am I to gainsay My Muse? So, 'ere tiz! Btw couldn't find a Roman will a Cossack do?

Not much has changed since Roman times the men are off to war

The people left behind do starve. What are they fighting for?

Since aeons past up 'till today not much has changed at all

Not only me but many folk doth think that this is Balls!

Where is the Love they talk about? Where is the Peace we seek?

While men keep playing war games such havoc they do wreak!

Make War for Peace I hear them cry, let's kill and we'll be free

Free of Doubt and free of Fear an end to Tyranny!

Excuse me dudes hold on a tic you think you got it right?

I beg to differ yes I do for Peace precludes a fight!

Don't you think you are Tyrants? Your god is on your side

And their god seems to be with them across the chasm wide!

So are the gods directing this as they did years ago?

And are they laughing heartily at men who have not grown?

If my god said go kill this man I'd say you're having me on

If you want them dead my son go get your very own gun!

Or better still just point a finger zap them with a beam

If you are a god that is if not you're just a dream!

So not much has changed at all and still they do not learn

God told me so I hear them bleat while looking very stern!

So what's the answer? I don't know the centuries have past

And still the men go off to war it really is a farce!

They have not learned a single thing methinks these men are drones

Living in glass houses and still they all throw stones!

I could go on but what's the point I could write on for years

About the way that nothing's changed and how I feel the tears

The tears of those who did not fight shed tears for those who died

And still some voices do cry out, 'For f'mucks sake, tell us why?!?'

The defence presents it's final argument towit:

Two alien vessels are cruising past Earth and one remarks, 'hey wanna go down there and play, they're very technologically advanced, they got satellite weapons!'

The other telepaths back, 'Not likely thanks, they may have satellite weapons, but those idiots have got them pointed at themselves!'

Case Proven! Defence Rests!

Just love your witty sense of humor and next time ask me, I have lots of Roman everything in my home, I even have a photo of Baccus, Mark Anthony and Cleopatra compliments of Ceasar's Palace, Las Vegas.....
Beware the mother ship....

Be always safe,
Karen
