La Niña is upon us.

A long time ago a word been a spoken

the baby La Niña has awoken

he grew far and wide

when cold and hot air do collide

The storm it hit so strong and quick

I wonder where is Nick?

people walk on streets in sorrow

praying it won't happen

again tomorrow

I look around and wonder where to go?

One place is too hot,'the other too cold.

the kids are hungry

we give a look

a sigh

but we can't look them

in their eye

a wind has swath across the land

soon it will come to

Sandy plains

the south there's drought,

no water spouts

hands  covered over mouths

eyes can't believe what they see

the water that's all around of thee

grit looks upon the  ground for

things that can't be found

maybe  in another town

Namaste Jeanette,

Very potent and seductive lines.

A tale of two stories. Excellent contrast.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Jeremy

I am not aware of the mean in you...I can only taste what is sweet and feel what is inspiring beneath sweaty palm. I can only smell the incense of its loving allure and see what beauty lies beneath. In all sense, I am in awe and appreciation of the beauty that lies even deeper than this that cannot be duplicated.
