Just pondering things today..what can I say...
I sit in the room, silent and alone
Spiralling in a chair, having flown
Round and round, eyes pealed high
Windows spun, blanketing the sky.
Droplets of moisture, splat on ground
Pitter and patter, squish, what a sound
Trapped in this oppressive mindset
Damp and diapered, from the offset.
White linen, course blankets, peaked caps,
Angry voices, rough hands, temper snaps
Home for the old or old as you are told
Dusted, not hardly, look for the mould.
Shoved and rolled, punched and poked
Flailing, farting, threatened and croaked
Another sole lost, relief buried inside
Another freed, life not longer to reside.
