Do you dream of starlit skies, and places so far away?
Do you dream of the oceans , where the mermaid plays?
Perhaps you dream of endless fields and meadows, or some forgotten place.
Perhaps you dream of moonbeams gently caressing your face.

Maybe you dream of dragons, and elf-castles in the skies.
Perhaps in a dream of paridise in where the angels fly.
Do you dream of kings and queens upon their jeweled thrones?
Perhaps it is a special dream meant for you alone.

Do you dream of days gone by where you were happiest?
Perhaps a dream of the moment you first felt true loves kiss?
Do you dream of shadows haunting you in the night?
Do you dream of wonders beyond our human sight?

Have you dreamed of the beauty of the perfect blood dipped rose?
Perhaps a dream of leprechauns and the end of eternal rainbows.
Do you dream of the one thing that you would give your life to change?
Do you dream of how it could be if all were rearranged?

Should you dream of endless skies and dragons on the wing,
of unicorns and starry nights and the songs the mermaid sings.
Should you dream of seas of blue and of mermaids fair.
In your dreamscapes of perfect worlds, do you see me there?

Wonderful dreams and beautifully-written. Yes, for some reasons I DO dream of all this things. It is soooo interesting to have all these dreams.

This is a very thoughtful poem. I like the form you have chosen. The questions you ask make what you're asking a bit more real and the ending sets it off. Very nicely done.
