Lonesome Star

Fame and Love sometimes brings a lonesome longing.

Lonesome Star

How did this trembling fragile mortal who climbed up a mountain so over turn the footlights?

Was she remembered in a pop culture gouache poster plastered against a subway wall?

Was she a ticket stub in a young girls scrapbook?

Have tiny caravans of poetic paparazzi journeyed along her skin?

Or maybe she was seeking this

An Invisible space in a multi Media Blitzkrig

A gruesome request

For stardom has laughed in the lives of many young wandering stars

No one wants to fade away or melt down into the

  Lonesome

                Decline of

                           Becoming untalented.

The pain of always thinking I could have been more

The sorrow of not taking care of the real business in life

Loving… Living each moment

 My, they, yours, they…who cares!

They are just appearances from others who made them think they had to impress somebody.

I gathered academes, portfolios stock investors

    in this misunderstanding

Now just, a craven image so shallow.

When all I wanted to do was perform La Dame

    in Free

But Fame ecliptic, and dismal dark, no joy did it impart

mad enveloped barely escaping with a clean heart

Framed, forgotten once in a moons halo

There are so many who have traveled the fortunes and the sadness of fame...and yet they are within the books of memories and time...

No one is ever really forgotten, just passed on through eternity. Nicely written....
