A reason to keep moving forward despite circumstances and/or personal expectations.
|
Once in a lifetime
Someone comes along
To offer a new rhyme
To an age-old song
So, listen and be open
To the methods of today
An old verse differently spoken
Can encourage one downcast to say
You know, I have never heard
God’s word brought out that way!
While one may think the idea’s absurd
Another may be motivated to stay
So, search your heart and understand
That God is in control
As we journey through this land
Striving to reach just one more soul!

Even the ministry of poetry may be thought of as absurd by some, God uses it to bless many who read with hungry hearts. I love the premise of this poem, and your eagerness to share His love.

An Excellent Poem!!
Yes, God is indeed IN CONTROL. As we seek HIM we understand and are blessed beyond measure.
Thank you!

| Many do strive to know Jesus, some cannot believe in him. But I do and let him lead me each day. He is my savior and I believe in him, therefore I am a saint as are others who believe on him too. |
