Thoughts following a week of intense accounting principles at work! Who says you can't teach old dogs new tricks?
|
I simply have to write about
the way my week has been.
Seems every time I turn around,
my patience is worn again.
I'm mostly a writer with a voice,
yet; this week I have failed.
Since numbers chase me, not by choice;
and my thoughts and dreams are assailed.
I drift off thinking 'chart of accounts.'
in the morning, fund balances I find,
Twirling ideas in which to bounce
the numerical solutions in my mind.
Then I'm off to teach a class today;
Yet, there's no mystery here.
Since passion fuels my hearts way,
and Jesus makes it clear.
As long as we submit to His will,
He'll administer the wisdom we need,
To face each obstacle and climb each hill
in His perfect timing and God's speed.
Seek ye the kingdom of God and His righteousness and All things will be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

Dear Frances,
Great advice.
Jesus ALWAYS calms storms.
Call on Him often.
Amen |
