Deceptive Truth by An Angel Thursday, May 09, 2002 Share Print Save Become a Fan The heart bleeds A thousand drops for each fleck of pain Embedded over the years Twisted into the knot Memories of what once was Truth writhes in agony A white-capped pond ready to purge over its banks Filled over the years Contorted into the knot Memories of what once was Lies crawl forth A billion gnats in a blinding cloud, swarming Formed over the years Grotesquely tightening the knot Perceived to be what is Deception spits on the heart Glassy and slippery it eats away at truth Lies waste the years Forming the knots Destroying what truly is and so, the climb begins... When humans play 'God', what is truth gets lost.... Happiness, people and joy: destroyed... in favor of personal gain... But is it worth it? For those with no conscience, maybe. For those who are hurt, it is a long climb back from the depths of the confusion and disbelief. To all who've been hurt, have faith. The truth comes out. It always does. This is my reflection dealing with a personal trial of such genre...

Brilliantly written...agree with Jay and Cathy...also the climb is worth it as long as it's always in an upward direction...;-)
