I'm depicting a child whose father has abandoned her family.

Iím four-years-old
Daddy left us alone
Been months now; hasnít phoned.

No kiss good-bye
I shed lots of tears
Felt insecure; nights spent in fear.

Miss him terribly
My childhood was taken
Couldnít comprehend; felt forsaken.

Iím an innocent child
Cannot be blamed
If heíd return now, it wouldnít be the same.
