Sometimes I am so tired of everyday life...
donít wanna worry about this stress and strife.
Just want to rest and to know that I will find
peace, tranquility and a face that is kind.

I want to lie down in soft sheets and a warm blanket
and be warm without a scheduled day of it.
I know my wants and desires are not new
I am sure they are felt by all the rest of you.

I know that this world can be a crazy place.
I see everyday a loving kind face.
Itís just we run around working way into the night
for money, possessions and status - it just isnít right.

Who started this working for money and trading it for things?
Shouldnít we stop this madness and stop grabbing for brass rings?
Itís not working that I find so exhausting to me.
Itís the working from early am until late night that I canít see.

I want to be with my family more.
I want to experience what life is for.
I want the cost of housing to decrease
I want all this madness to cease.

So what if we make a few thousand dollars less...
I think the more we have...the bigger the mess.
We work our fingers down to the bone
and spend alot of our time alone.

Our loved ones do the same...work, work, work.
Can I find that first man and call him a jerk?
Well, this is my beef today for all that it is worth.
I donít want to go to work today, so give me a wide berth.

Sometimes I wonder about life, too, and what my purpose for being here is, but God MUST have a reason! I don't have the answers to this either. Good write, though, Silver; well done!

Good write, Moon! Lots of times I wonder about it all, too; but like you, I don't have the answers, except for me myself to *want* and *need* less. (:D

We hear you! I spent almost 30 years hitting that 'Ctrl+Shift+A' button on your board, and it got me absolutely nowhere. Some things never change, and never will.
