A small excerpt from the newly revised edition of The Revolt.

My dream is mine It is just a matter of time Before it runs its course Brilliant in all its glory It will be shot dead like a broken leg horse Because it’s not normal Because it’s not formal It has no purpose Thought by many to be worthless But never the less it is still my bless Sing it to the world This is my baby girl to nourish It will flourish Beyond the seams As I said before this is my dream And it’s just the beginning Oh yes My unveiling of the unseen But here they come Put it away Hurry Hurry Hide my dream Don’t let them take it Let them take me instead Don’t put in your pocket Keep it on your head So that even when I am dead It becomes a dream that will always be fed One to grow on One that goes on Like a purpose Let’s work this I am with you in spirit Can’t you hear it This is my voice And they have no choice But to listen to us In all our reign We will give the pain For suppressing our dream And it seems that we are their future We don’t want to shoot you But if we have to Just know that it was done for great things A song to be sang A gong to be banged All for the rise of a great dream

Interesting, interwoven concepts here of darkness and light...

Be safe,
