I opened my eyes to a beautiful sound
Dingdong... dingdong...!
For a moment I imagined opening the door
Hoping to see that beloved face smiling at me
Longing to be gathered into your loving arms
And feel that bliss within your tight embrace
But I don't even have a doorbell
Just my mobile phone calling my attention
With its message alert set to the same tone
Nevertheless, it lights up my face
I smile as I read your morning text
"Gud am Mommy, how r u 2day?"
Isn't it a happy time to wake up and experience
The beauty of a simple message
From someone who means the world to you?
I say, it's the best time of my day!

Sheri, it is so good to note you are back and recovered my dear friend. Ah, a message from your child. Husbands and wives are husbands and wives until they no longer are. Friends, they may come and go. But you child, is your child for your entire life. A message rich in paternal love. May peace and love be always with you. Jon Michael
