Carried Away

Walking alone, head down
Trying to hide my face from the setting sun
Not knowing which way to go
Heart thudding like mad
Hands clutching at nothing
Knees starting to shake
Then suddenly
I remember You
My racing heartbeat slowed down
My hands reached out
My knees didn't buckle
But they folded down on their own accord
The soft winds began to dry my tears
A kind of tranquility seemed to surround me
Infinite comfort touched my aching heart
Then I smiled
Because I realized I was being carried away
By your love so faithful and true
Thank you, Lord
For that wonderful afternoon walk with you!

The reach of His hand is infinite. The understanding of His love the tie that hold the universe together. His uplifting and understanding grasp when we feel stranded and deserted is the gift of his mercy. Walk with humility in His footsteps Sheri. I bid you love and peace my dear friend. Jon Michael
