Life is, indeed, like a book unfolding. Unfortunately, these days, I am watching my lifelong imaginings of freedom, rights and a voice amid the masses melting away. My Country is slipping into darkness under the guises of change and hope. In fact, the changes are destroying the hope that has kept us strong as our leaders make choices for us without the ability for our voice to be heard or our votes to be cast. Was it always but a dream that this country was "Of, by and for the people?" This is an outstanding poem, Lori, layered and with a depth of perception that must be perceived by all if we are to survive and continue in greatness.
Take care,
Sherry |

| Very nice arrangement of words, Lori. A catalyst for the lost and weary I'm afraid. When dreams are shattered life begins to spin out of control in its hum-drum existence as it waits for the end. |

Deep and superior evaluation of the facets of imagination, their range and possibilities expressed in excellently wrought images...and the third and final disturbing and challenging for this reader. Fine work.
