| "We must love one another or die"--do you remember that line from W.H. Auden. It's tragic watching the world ignoring that warning over and over and over again. The politicians never heed it, don't know how. And most of the people aren't doing much better. So, yes, sounding the alarm remains in the hands of the poets. And to your credit, that's what you're doing. |

Hate and fear mongering is rampant these days (NOT including your poem, tho, Lori), and I can't help but wonder if FDRs words don't ring truer today than near 70 years ago: We have nothing to fear but fear itself.
I thought we got rid of Nero and his "fiddler" in the last election :o)
Ok...so I'm a positive thinker on this; but a respector of other's opinions...

| He has ties to all the radicals who hate America and knocks America before the world. Obama will turn this Country into a socialistic state and trash the Constitution.You only have to listen to his speeches, he doesn't hide what he wants to do to America. How much longer will you tolerate seeing your Country weakened? He said judge me by the people I associate with. Look at the many Czar's he appointed and their radical backgrounds. You have been judged and found wanting. Wake up America this is not the change you voted for. |

Seems as if American society
is like feathers on the wind at times.
As a man, I don't know, but as
a president I don't like him yet.
Too many lies!
I'm not convinced the man cares about Americans at all!
When Iran and Cuba, and other notorious thug nations,
start praising what he says, I get chills.

It truly is time that we all realize that the Emperor is wearing no clothes. We swallow all the BS that is fed to us and we believe it is steak and potatoes because that is what we were told. I hear the fiddling and it gets louder and wilder every day. Excellent job, Lori.

| Great stuff Lori. It's amazing to sit and watch how the anti-war movement, as one example, fell in behind the Obama campaign and then completely collapsed into itself. But, that's how the controlled left-right paradigm works. And the show goes on. |
