Blather...

Whenever I feel a "writers' block" coming on, I just let the words fall from my mind with no rules. It's almost always silly, useless nonsense, but that's okay because it helps to just let it all go and not care. This "Blather" is very silly, but I was especially proud of it. Try a "Blather" of your own.

There can be no telling how many times I
swept that hallway without looking
And still the moon dropped dust
For us to step in

Ten times he strapped on his window
But still the air became lucid
And all the skinny ravens
Burnt their butts on the most splendid
Sunset of all

I like this - you're right "blather" has a place and gets creative juices flowing. I did this just the other day and came up with a poem that came from my heart. Thanks! Donelle

Leann ;

Sometimes, that's the best best way.

Sometimes, some of our best work is born from
that method.

But as usual, you put together what will be
another classic.

This free flow style of writing is fun and yes I have tried and posted my own in the past. Great way to use up wonderful lines that come but have no direst use but still can be saved in these for another day.

Best way to write sometimes, you can always organize it at a later date, poor ravens...

Be always safe,
