Love is Forever...

rocky ground;

All eyes

to see

the face

above them

Features drawn    Agony    Spikes through flesh and bone and

blood spills down, down   Turns the baked soil red amid their feet

From within

the long

Cast upon

rocky ground

Even now

We hold

this image

In our minds

For time

invents no

The soil at

our feet

Still red

The crowd

Gazes upward

To see the

 still restless

from the darkness

To be forgiven

Like the thief

To find the way

Have faith

To do what’s right

To step from the shadows

And into His Light

A very powerful write Leann, with great visuals. I believe that everybody should step from the shadows and into His light. Thank you for sharing.

May the Lord Bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and walk by your side. With love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister Barbie.

Very powerful.

You pictured a scene, one, as if you were there witnessing it.

Very well done.

Oh, the marvelous, eternally life-changing hope when we look upon Him there and accept His sacrifice as payment for our sin! You present a beautiful picture of the cross, and your words portray the depth of its meaning. The details are profound.
