Empty faces look through the window,
Blank expressions set in stone,
A million spectators for one show
But strangely each is alone.
Empty eyes stare unconditionally,
Bottomless pits of deprived hearts -
Not a pair is ever the same;
Proves each set lives apart.
Empty minds remain blankly,
Barren wastelands of forgotten dreams,
Diminished hopes, burnt out lives
Live together - and yet seperately.
Empty souls cling on weakly
Not a hope do they contain,
Oblivious to everything, they're alone
Despite that they're all the same.
Empty hearts robbed of fluid,
Robbed of rhythm, feeling, love,
Solitude is the only known thing
Unaware they share what they're made of.
Empty bodies concocting air,
Empty thoughts at what they see
It's funny they choose to be spectators
Empty - Just like me.
