Where's God?

Whenever I see life as it is
Through my two observant, brown eyes
I always feel so sorrowful
And I always tend to raise them to the skies.

I always wonder why
Why there's always heartache and tears
Why it has only grown
And not diminished over the years.

I wonder whether there's someone
To protect everyone that lives on this earth
To guide us through the stresses
To lead us right through life from our birth.

Is there such a thing as God?
Does He even exist in everyone's life?
And if He does actually live
Why doesn't He make all wrongs right?

He's said to love us all
But He subjects some of us to pain
But then others to happiness
Who felt pain once and never felt it again.

He's said to protect everyone
But He gives some people warm homes
While others sleep on the street
Feeling so cold, so hungry and so alone.

He can see people suffering
But He doesn't do anything to prevent it
He just sits and watches
And doesn't even try to help them through it.

He can see crime reigning
But He lets it control every single one
From the old to the children
Who's lives have only just begun.

I can't comprehend it
I can't understand why He isn't around
If God is actually real
Why does He leave us suffering without a sound?
