If only we could push aside racism
Then we could all be one
If only we could all get along
Then a sort of justice would be done
If only people could look inside
Then we could all be so happy
If only we just forgot the past
Then everyone would be set free
If only we could stop the tears
Then the sun would shine on a new day
If only we could forget all the colours
Then we could roll the pain away
If only people would take time to notice
Then the tears would all be dry
If only people could be much more mature
Then others wouldn't need to cry
If only people would read this poem
Then they would see how I feel inside
If only people could change their minds
Then there would be a perfect mankind.
