We've all been there - the night just wont let you rest.
Poem also appears in my novel For Nil Consideration.

There’s nothing worse than lying awake at night,

Your body’s tired but your mind’s still bright,

And you struggle to put your world to rights.

Thoughts rumble and tumble around your head,

By four in the morning you wish you were dead,

As you fight to clear your fears from your head.

There’s nothing worse than lying awake at night.

Hi, think I'd say lying awake in bed. Anyway, cool, I been there. Like your work. I always wanted to write fiction, am a coward.
