This poem, The Fishing Fleet is about the late afternoon at any coastal marina where the deep sea fishing parties arrive back with their haul for the day, usually attracting huge crowds of on lookers who want to see the biggest catch's of the day.

This poem is in my poetry book Lighthouse Rainbows.

                                      THE FISHING FLEET

                                       All along the coasts

                                  At all the fishing marina's

                                Come late in the afternoon

                                The crew's of sport fishers

                                       Arrive back into port

                                       With the day's haul

                                  Displaying their catches

                                     To curuios onlookers

                                  Who excitedly want to be

Next to catch the big one

                                   And will eagerly sign up

To go out the next morning

The Fishing Fleet
