I wrote this remembering my first kiss with my husband. To be published in my new book Through The Windows To My Soul. |

Slowly I did emerge from the dark entrance,
Looking for the one love my heart had found.
I began to search the large crowd in a trance.
I heard you call my name as I turned around.
My heart was beating so loudly I became deaf.
I watched as you ran through the crowd to me,
All fear was gone suddenly as if in quiet theft.
Your smiling face approaching was all I could see.
My heart began to pound like a drum so loud,
As you took me in your arms and we kissed.
Emotions of desire lifted me into the clouds,
The passion in your kiss I could never resist.
Our first kiss leaves a lasting memory so dear.
I felt a sensual tingling of every inch of my skin.
The warmth of our bodies as you held me near,
Waiting and longing to be with the one I did win.
The fire burned bright deep within my heart.
Our eyes drank each other as we became one.
You kindled a desire that lit the fire at the start.
A tango of love dancing to a tune that plays on.
In our arms our love plays on the canvas of life,
A true romance story that dances on the wind.
An eternal love tells a romance story of strife,
Our hearts endured the insanity life did send.
Holding on to each other with our eternal souls,
Our love continues to burn brighter as we grow.
Completing each other our hearts are now whole,
Looking into our eyes enchanted love does flow.
Our first kiss told everything that was unsaid.
Love and trust controlled our hearts, we began.
Honesty and faithfulness put us a step ahead,
A beginning for a perfect love to take a stand.
