Brokenhearted once again
|
The bridge that had been burned,
Has slowly started to mend.
Feelings deep inside churned,
Even though I tried to pretend.
Friends forever we will be,
Even though we must be apart.
Tears blind me so I cannot see,
From a broken love in my heart.
In and out of my life you fly,
As a bird on the wind.
Once again I begin to cry,
From a silent message you send.
My heart will always belong to you,
You told me never to forget.
A true love I can never ensue,
Though love in our hearts beget.
Only silent memories are left,
Of a perfect love that can never be.
My heart was stolen in quiet theft,
Only to be left on bended knee.

| He left your heart on bended knee. I guess you finally realize it is over and done with. For a start this is a special piece of writing for you and you are continuing the saga so completely astounding me. |
