This is a poem written by my brother Tim Martin. He did a better job than I could right now (As this is about a personal matter) touching on the horror of our legal system and how they are reactive instead of proactive concerning our children....'nuff said. Thanks lil bro.

Stepped into a void today
A place where progress wained
Fought the good fight again
Now left broken and drained

Our system rots and faulters
There's no recource to be found
Unless in the wrong direction
Burn innocence to the ground

Be sure to vote your party
Your support is all that counts
Look at all the splendors
So why so down and out

No longer fairly represented
By our f****d up courts
Too late to be righted
When our babies are a coprse

It'll all work out in time
Sam has spoke his piece
Don't dare doubt the judgement
You couldn't afford the fees†

Hi Melissa,

Your brother has penned a powerful poem.
The system is the system and it is sad.
I agree with Eileen.

Superb! Our judicial system is a disgrace, it's too corrupt for politicians to deal with, so they ignore it! Only a massive outpouring might help, but I doubt if anyone has the heart to bother.
Hope things improve on your end!

Powerful write Melissa...not knowing the vagracies of your legal system, I can't really comment, but I suspect it's as screwed up as ours...but your words speak volumes, more power to your pen this is excellent.
