The sounds make us wonder, and wake with amazement.
Sighs bring us back to this world, in replacement.
Wishing we could grasp them, keeping us afloat;
dreams floating in our head, like waves beneath a boat.

Listen

Listen closely, you can hear,
water flowing, in your ear;
the same as if through a sea shell,
the stories of wayfarers it could tell.

Sea spirits whispering in your ear;
beckoning you beyond time to compare.
Days of leisure, while you lazily lie,
eyes on the ceiling or blinded by the sky.

Faint voices, those sounds, music in your head;
turn your head another direction, enlightened or dread.
Listen, understand, wonder, or dance,
let the whimsical sounds fill your heart with romance.

The sounds make us wonder, and wake with amazement.
Sighs bring us back to this world, in replacement.
Wishing we could grasp them, keeping us afloat;
dreams floating in our head, like waves beneath a boat.

Listen now, they’ve fleeted by,
claiming another’s amazement cry.
But they’ll return to you one day,
if you let your mind wrap around them
like hands around clay.

Soft and sensual, peaceful and quiet...whispering like a feather in the air. Beautiful.

Oh the rush of the sea revelling through the sea shell, I can close my eyes and hear it. So beautifully done.

Be safe,
