An ode to a 2 year old filly about to start her racing career.
|
IN PRAISE OF A HORSE
Oh, Vale of Avoca.
Oh, beauteous steed.
Oh, Vale of Avoca,
The pride of your breed.
Intelligent yet strong.
Your hooves can do no wrong.
Your eye contains a gleam.
A hint of your great dream.
Of races yet run,
and of purses yet won.
Of roses, carnations,
Your place in the Sun!

Hi R.T.
There is something about horses. For me they are a rung above all other animals. Cheers! Liz |

| Do runt that race, win the prize money, go to your place in the sun, fame and fortune abounds soon. I feel it in my heart. |
