The poem tries to x-ray our coming to this world as mortal who came in naked without anything materially: both social, economy or politically , and naked we shall all die some day, leaving all we must have acquired in the coarse of our temporary stay on earth.

Naked we came, naked we shall,

       Return, leaving all cotton, silk,

        Wool, leather and skin.

Naked we came crying, Naked we,

      Shall return with grin.

      Leaving behind families, friends,

And foes, with our souls, flying,

       Nakedly away.

    Naked we came as toddlers,

Naked we shall exit as adults,

With strong bones and a weak mind.

Naked we came, naked we shall,

Return, biding farewell to the sun,

the moon and those glittering stars.

How true! We brought nothing into this world and will carry nothing out. All we can ever hope to leave behind on this earth is a simple legacy for our children & grandchildren. Everything we are or will become, belongs to God--mind, heart and soul. blessings...Frances

Its funny how we work so hard to acquire "things" that we really do not need and once we leave we are left "naked" again. Nice poem.
