My Eternal

Epiphany, I yearn for thee.
Your words have ceased to flow.
I always thought you'd be with me
Wherever I may go.
But now it seems
Not even dreams
Have brought me poetry.
My gentle love, you dare
To leave my mind empty.
Do you no longer care?
Is this what happens to
Lovers when the sky is blue?
I am not the one of us
Who stops the words between.
Conversation's less and less
Why are you being mean?
You must be the one afraid
Because I'm the one who stayed.

I beg of thee, return to me
And hold me in your grasp.
I plead that you again love me
Let ours, forever, last.

Come back love, and be right here
I need your whispers in my ear.

Epiphany, I yearn for thee.
Your words have ceased to flow.
I beg from now you'll be with me
And be the only thing I know.

A prayer, perhaps, for those with writer's block

I'd rather walk without shoes
than lose my muse
I hear your words
they sing the blues
Now I'm off to snooze
One must choose
I choose to confuse
