Boundaries

Mother, daughter, grandsons, living under one roof.....

Our boundaries collapse

into each other

like a house of cards,

mother, daughter

under one roof.,

raising two children.

Mother

grandmother

daughter-

the roles bleed into each other.

Control yo-yos,

resentment builds

and spills over

into the landscape.

We scramble to reclaim

and repair the sense of order.

I can imagine how rough that it. But I also imagine how loving it is to have a family that stays together to help each other through the rough times.
