Ghosts follow footprints I leave behind. |
Wandering ghosts
walk along the streets
of my life,
catching glimpses
of the one
that I keep inside,
and haunting voices
whisper words of comfort
to keep moving
along the hard ground
beneath me.
Don’t fall no more,
and don’t shed my tears.
Life will continue on,
but love will always stay
by my side.
Memories sway
like living portraits
as ghostly figures
slowly pass by
along the streets
of my life,
watching me struggle
to chase whatever destiny
that waits for me
down the road.
