A visual of the movement of birds expressed in free verse form.

From where do the birds come
Gliding along the intervals of space
Observers
Creators of images
Each one a point in a third dimensional expanse
Fluidly changing the image
Circling in forward motion

Intent
Their presence
Black
Against the whisper white
A silence
Of being

The Big Dipper
A child’s kite
A shifting oblique prism
A trapezoidal tower
An envelope opening

Surreal power
Tranquil motion
Independently expressing
Unified in texture

Existence
In the moment
With a command of the air

To where
Do the birds

Go?
