A poem describing the ocean.
|
Hearing the ocean
How do I explain
The rushing white crest
To one who hasn’t the
Soul to listen.
The crashing of waves
On the sand giving
More than a whispering
Breeze tingling the cheek.
There isn’t a sound to
Compare to the power
Struggle of water
Against rock.
But the consistent
Desire of the ocean
To meet the land
Voices of the mightiness of life.

| Awesome write! I grew up beside the ocean and it's always been a source of great inspiration to me. I feel the power of the sea in your poem. Nice job. |

| I find peace at the ocean, love to walk on those golden sands, find shells, see the seagulls flying overhead and the boats way out on thewater. The waves wash over me and make me clean an my problems go all away at the ocean. |

Kelly,
Beautiful poem. The soul to absorb life's wonders comes with the ability to listen with the heart and mind. That last sentence says it all. Peace, Love and Blessings to You Always, Paul. |
