This Thang crept on me like a shadow in the distance

Startling my nerves unaware of its existence

Wondering to myself is it just my imagination

Or am I about to become a witness to one of Gods most powerful creations

Thinking to myself shouldn't I have felt its presence

From the depth of its power and the feel of  its essence

Reminiscing on the times its moments gave me bliss

Blocking out my mind the times I've cried from it being missed

Now I'm pondering inside has this gift truly arrived

Or have I so long been deprived that its just a figment of my mind

Am I blind by self-doubt

Or is this shined by truth

If only I knew

Maybe it could be the end of my suspicions

Or better yet the beginning of my predictions
