A poem written for an angelic friend of mine. ;-)

Thank you for being my friend
When life leads me to wit’s end
I know that I can depend
On your heart, every day

Even when time’s been a thief
You have never caused me grief
Your smile offers such relief
You know just what to say

Whenever I’m lost inside
You see what I try to hide
Then, reach with arms opened wide
To offer me an oar

You make me see hope is not lost
How life is good, despite the cost
Although, my ship is sometimes tossed
You’re the one I adore

This is not only a good friend, but a wise one, who knows how to steer your ship in the right direction. I enjoyed reading it.

This is a sweet poem. I'm sure your "angelic friend" will treasure it.
