A poem for the best thing to happen to me; my brilliant ray of sunshine, Jill.
|
You’re sweet, you’re funny and you’re rare
I never doubt how much you care
You’re a refreshing breath of air
You’re different than the rest
You are content to be yourself
In wisdom, you’ve amassed much wealth
You keep your feelings on a shelf
So others shall be blessed
You smile, even when hope seems gray
You always know just what to say
To make one’s troubles melt away
Your compassion is true
I know I have years yet to see
More jokes to tell by life’s decree
No joke; I’m glad you’re here with me
I’ll never find another you

| Love means appreciating the person for who they really are. You have expressed yourself so well, and obviously you have shown your appreciation for the person in your life. I love the way you have shown that you notice the person's sense of humor and the simplicity of her smile. Your writing reflects your admiration, appreciation, and love that you have for this special person in your life. |
