Lies

The contrast of lying for a good cause, and lying for yourself.

To lie is to hate,
hate with all your might

To lie is to love,
love for all in sight

To lie is to place yourself in a dirty plight,
one that won't let go.
You plead and squirm,
you twist and turn,
but you just can't get free,
the lie has it's iron grasp held tight

But, to lie through love is a different thing,
all choruses just praise and sing,
to the one who brings that burden upon thy self
The selfless little savior of another

Interesting, but to lie for any reason is not a good thing. Enjoyed this write though...

Be safe,
Karen
