The Victorian Cage
by Carol Fowler

This is the first of my books. It's unlike the other two in that it could be classified as a young adult, but it's okay for adults, too. And just remember. If you read me..

The perfect book for perfect gift-giving. Beautiful (and unsyrupy) sentiments. Beautiful art by Vicki Thomas. And about the same price as you'd pay for a nice greeting ca..

A depressed Rumanian poet writes that he wished he were a tomcat

If he were a tocat, would climb snow covered roofs, scritch to wake up housewives, chase case to have many little kittens. When he forgets to die, next to a beerjoint in the slums, he lays dead in a ditch.
The poem was traslated from Rumanian by George Liebermann, M.D., and reviewed by Susan Gero.
