"Me First" is a tribute I wrote to the little Amish girl of Nickel Mines P.A., who on the 2nd day of October 2006, was willing to lay down her life for her classmates. Marian- your example causes us to glorify our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ. Lord, help us to put others first.

"Me first !" Cried the little boy, as he held

Fast to the coveted toy. "I don't wanna go next,

Me FIRST!" sobbed the little boy.

"Me first", Snapped the little girl as she

cut to the head of the line,

"They can wait forever for all I care! Me FIRST!"

Frowned the little girl.

In a small Amish school, in Nickel Mines, P.A.

stood a little Amish girl, brushing tears

away.

"Me first!"

Pled the little girl

"Shoot me first---

Instead of the others please,

ME FIRST !"
