I don't recall what spawned this poem, or whom I should say, it's been a long time.

Decide with feelings, and not with your mind
Take what you seek and desire to find
Accepting no more than willing to give
That which I offer is for as long as I live
Reflect on our words and what you have learned
For once it is taken, it cannot be returned
Each but a seed that will grow ever strong
But fragile and broken in betrayal, if wronged

Choose wisely my lady, my words are sincere
One part at a time, so take without fear

My hand is a friend that always be yours
Comfort and safety if hard times be forged
My mind holds your visions that never will fade
That which is with you even when you're away
My heart in devotion our love bound by trust
Free our endeavors but shall only we touch
My soul gives my essence entwining as we
Not owning, but sharing, unbridled and free

Choose wisely my lady, my words are sincere
One step at a time, you may take without fear
