To be unwittingly martyred.

Look now brave knight of truth

What gray decision beckons you near

The white of good and black of evil

Have conspired to confuse you

Your mind now in upheaval

Dissonance beams from your eyes

Your expression, relates the surprise

What to do now, how can this be

Your heart says yes

Your mind says no

With the issues you struggle mightily

What have they done to you

Of grave moral consequence this task

The chink in your armor is found

This deed is your's to command

No replacement is to be found

The precedence will leave your armor

Wearing yet another mighty dent

You id, in total disarray

Long will you remember this day

Mount your steed

Brace your lance

You have not a chance

The battle will ensue

You will be felled

Brave knight of truth

You have beeen sacrificed

All gave some, some gave all--powerful write, Jon, that could relate to our men and women in uniform. Well done.
