All Those Dreams!

DREAMS ARE WONDERFUL AND WHEN THEY COME TRUE THEY ARE MIRACLES...

All Those Dreams!

I dreamed of the man I’d marry and what he’d be like.
I wondered about my husband when I was but a tyke.
I wondered what his name would be, Gus, Jim or Mike?
All these answers took extremely long, almost out of site.

I dreamed of my precious babies for countless years before.
Wondering of who they would like and hoping I’d have four.
But God blessed me with three and I cherish each dear one.
I had a precious little daughter and two adorable sons.

I dreamed of where I’d raise my family when I was in my teens.
Colorado was definitely the right choice with all the mountain scenes.
And I’m so glad I live right here, a stunning place I can’t describe.
For every morning when my eyes open, I’m glad that I’m alive.

All those dreams are now reality I wanted nothing more.
For I had everything I dreamed of and jubilation by the score.
Now I’m dreaming of the past and with all the joys and trials.
For during my precious journey, I have traveled many miles.

And the happiness s had overpowered the sadness as far as I can tell.
I don’t think I would undo anything for my heart’s pleased as well.
I have been very blessed throughout my travels on this beautiful earth.
I’ve had many heartbreaks and tears, yes, but also I’ve had love and mirth.
