I am inside your soul

I am what makes you whole

I am the history of the ages

I am time clicked off in stages

I am the food to feed your body

I am what makes you keep on plodding

When your spirit is lowing

I give you reason to keep going

And when your hopes are high

I am the happy sigh

That escapes you unbidden

I am all the secrets you keep hidden

I am the beauty in the sunset

I am the fear you haven’t faced yet

I am the dawn of time

I will be death sublime

I am each breath you take

I am each friend you don’t forsake

I am the light of the world

I am the dark abyss that swirls

Around your insecurities

Until you conquer them and please

Yourself immensely

I am the joy you feel intensely

I am the God you pray to nightly

And He who keeps you rightly

I am the play and work and go

I am the span of time you know
