Thanksgiving Time is upon us again,
And it is time I take in hand my pen.

To write down what I am thankful for;
I am thankful for a lot, and much more!!

I am thankful for my family and their love,
And I am thankful for my Lord and Saviour Above!

I am thankful I can walk (although on crutches),
And I am thankful for my maman's loving touches!

I am thankful for a daddy so kind and sweet,
And I am thankful for a healthy after school treat!

I am thankful that I have my hearing and my sight;
And I am thankful for the moon and the sunlight!

I am also thankful for my ability to sing for people,
And I am thankful for my church and its steeple!

I am thankful for my teacher and friends at school,
And I am thankful that I try to follow school's rules!

I'm thankful for my brothers and my sisters, too,
And I am thankful that they love me like they do!

I am thankful for my health; it's better every day;
And I am thankful that I can find a moment to pray!

I am thankful that I recovered from my stroke,
And I am really glad I did, for being sick is a JOKE!!

And lastly, I am thankful for eating all of this food;
For mom makes the best food in the neighborhood!

Johnny:

I am thankful for my family first of all,
And I am thankful when my brother calls.

I am thankful that God loves me the way he does;
And I am thankful that I can hear the bees buzz!

I am thankful for each and every new day;
And I am thankful that God allows me to pray!

I am thankful that I can get around by wheelchair,
And I am thankful for my family's love and care!

I am thankful that I have friends at school,
And I am thankful that being in school is cool!

I am thankful for the green grass and the trees;
And the coolness of a summer or fall breeze.

I am thankful for the sun and the moon,
And I am thankful that Jesus will come soon!

I am thankful for my video games and my toys,
And I am thankful that I can make a lot of noise!

I am thankful for M'buti and Roberto, too;
And their son, Jubaki..WOO-HOOOOO!!

I am thankful for all the creatures on this earth;
And finally, I am thankful for Jesus' Holy Birth!
